The weather in this region is very grey and rainy, with little sunshine. Here, the ocean is the colour of the South Seas. It's one of the elements in this allegorical painting. Then there's the cave carved out of the limestone with a mysterious light inside. A mixture of Plato's cave and the light at the end of the tunnel. Then there's this anachronistic boat, with the stern of an ancient Greek ship and the bow adorned with a medieval unicorn.
