02 · The story

“This work is based on a glorious sea swimming pool built into the rocks at Bude in Cornwall.”

This work is based on a glorious sea swimming pool built into the rocks at Bude in Cornwall. The pool is over 45m long fed by the sea every high tide. This painting is part of my sea pool series, with an emphasis however, on various common swimming pool items such as diving board and steps in the pool. Framed in a simple white box frame, frame size 34 x 34 cms. This oil painting is currently on show at the Galleri Soho in Sweden, please contact the gallery directly for shipping costs.
