“The work is made with ink, gouache paint, pencil, pastel, soft pastel on a prepared vinyl Background: many (very young) children in brutal wars, in government…”
The work is made with ink, gouache paint, pencil, pastel, soft pastel on a prepared vinyl Background: many (very young) children in brutal wars, in government youth care/ foster care or those being kidnapped - they loose their mother, their family and home. The world is changing and will never be the same. The lonely, motherless night shows darkness and creatures, the moon as a guide through the night. The children have no voice but have to accept that they will never see their mother again, in a world that doesn't understand the impact and consequences for life. This work has been made from authentic experiences.
