Si tu réinventais la Terre (If you were to reinvent the Earth)

If you were to reinvent the Earth, would you put an end to wars and suffering? Would you seek to contain the sea of hatred that overwhelms the minds of so many human beings? Would you transform fear into trust? Is violence avoidable, or is it an inherent part of human nature? If we could rewrite the world of humankind through the eyes of a child, perhaps we would have a chance to rediscover meaning. Homage to Andrée Chedid’s poem, “Si tu ré-inventais la terre…”.
