Materials, making and the idea behind The Language of life.
THE LANGUAGE OF LIFE It is autumn, the season in which every tree reveals its colour in its own way. Spring and summer have passed, and the landscape prepares itself for winter — a time of darkness, storm and frost. At the centre stands the small red tree, the youngest of them all, and aware of its place among the others. Beside it stands the yellow tree, the oldest and wisest presence in the landscape. Its age is met with quiet respect, as though wisdom and time are inseparable. The orange tree is the most ambitious. It reaches upward, striving to grow ever taller. Not out of vanity, but in devotion to the birds, so that from its highest branches they may behold the beauty of the world. In the left background stands a cypress, seemingly the most distant tree in the composition. Yet appearances can be deceptive. In truth, it is the closest of all. It understands the language of human beings — their longing for love, their search for happiness. A happiness they might already have found, had they learned to speak the language of trees: the language of life. Note:Within Trees and Their Stories, each painting carries its own narrative. Every tree embodies a distinct voice, presence and meaning, inviting the viewer into a different reflection on life, nature and perception.
