The Year Lingers on Your Tongue

A slender branch reaches upward into the white space, carrying small orange blossoms like sparks of memory. In The Year Lingers on Your Tongue, Ad van den Boom lets the season speak softly. The handwritten words beneath the image turn the work into more than a botanical gesture: it becomes a reflection on time, attention and the way a year can remain present in the body, almost as a taste.
