As an artist, I look around me and see major issues at play in society to which I give my visual response. I draw inspiration from climate change, biodiversity, innovation, and science, among other things. As polarizing as these subjects can be in society, so polarizing am I. With a contrasting fascination for wild, vast nature as well as heavy technology such as large cars and ships like oil tankers. But contrasts can also connect.
Statement
nspiring big issues in society. Themes such as climate change, biodiversity, innovation, science. The controversy of social themes is portrayed in my works. As polarizing as these topics are in society, they are also reflected in my works. On the one hand, fascination for wild, vast nature, in contrast to the lines of heavy industry, large cars and impressive ships on the other. Being able to connect contrasts, which is reflected in major works, with a powerful message. Big topics call for a grand gesture. My mission is to give you, with my works, new fundamental ways of thinking that you can continue to associate with. Works that inspire, tell impactful stories and encourage grand gestures. With an Arne Brink you not only have a work of art on the wall, but also a vision that calls for a fundamentally different way of looking, thinking and acting.
