Ingrid Duch is a figurative painter whose work explores storytelling, human experience and the archetypal themes that connect us across cultures and generations. Inspired by literature, travel and encounters with different cultures, she draws on visual traditions ranging from ancient cave paintings and Egyptian mythology to the symbolism of Native American cultures. Her work reflects on humanity’s enduring need to understand our relationship with one another, nature and the world around us. Through a contemporary figurative language, Duch explores what remains fundamentally human in an ever-changing world—our search for meaning, connection and a sense of place within something larger than ourselves.
