Paul B Wakeford is a British artist based on the south coast of England, specialising in landscapes, sunsets and portraiture. After studying Graphic Design at the Arts Institute Bournemouth, Paul spent many years working within picture framing and fine-art printing, gaining extensive experience in the presentation and reproduction of artwork while continuing to develop his own practice. His work evolved from drawing and pastel into acrylic painting, with an increasing emphasis on colour, atmosphere and the emotional character of a place. The Dorset coastline and surrounding landscape are a major influence throughout his work. Alongside original paintings, Paul produces signed prints and undertakes selected portrait and pet portrait commissions.
