02 · The story
Materials, making and the idea behind Back Wall Tangle.
An oil painting on canvas, framed, 100cmx100cm "Back Wall Tangle" This painting captures the detail of old ivy across a weathered dry stone wall. Painted in bluish grey monochrome with just a hint of green to emphasise the complex tangled forms of the old ivy bringing the natural twisted forms into something more surreal. The picture is framed in a dark grey floating frame to compliment the artwork.
