COCOON NEBULA

Photographing the Cocoon Nebula allowed me to capture a place where light, dust, and darkness meet in a striking balance. What drew me in was the way this nebula seems to emerge from its own trail of dust, a glowing core surrounded by a long, shadowy filament. While processing the image, I focused on revealing the gentle colors of the hydrogen and the subtle structure of the dark lanes that frame the nebula. For me, this photograph is about transformation: a star‑forming region slowly breaking free from the cloud that created it. I hope this image invites you to pause and explore the quiet beauty hidden within this cosmic cocoon.
