Slipping Through My Fingers rnrnrnrnShe will soon grow into a river, learn to bank her flow. But today, she is unbidden, free. She lacks depth, but she is not shallow — She is just beginning her journey for uncharted waters. Her canvas, yet unpainted soaks up all that she sees: yellow of sun, blue of sky, brown of earth, green of forest, black of night, silver of moon. I cup my palms and scoop her up, hoping to save a little of her rainbow. But when I gaze into my hands, all I see slipping through my fingers is me when I was just a stream. rnAarti Ghanekar
