Meet the creator
Artist · US
Sujata’s work reflects this personal journey. Bold, expressive, and emotionally driven, her paintings draw inspiration from her experiences, her surroundings, and her belief in the power of possibility. As she began sharing her work, she discovered art’s ability to connect with people, spark conversations, and bring joy.
Statement
A strong believer in manifestation, Sujata now lives the creative life she once imagined. Her philosophy is simple: “You are the creator of your own destiny.” Through her work, she hopes to encourage others to explore new possibilities, follow their passions, and embrace their own creative journeys. Nature, fragrant flowers, travel, and hiking are important sources of inspiration for Sujata. She also enjoys creating intricate henna designs on Art-o-mat blocks. Her studio—a serene space overlooking a lake—provides an inspiring environment in which she spends much of her time creating. Sujata is a graduate of the Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute. Her work has been presented at the San Francisco Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair Austin, India Art Festival Delhi and Hyderabad, as well as at numerous art festivals across the United States. Alongside her studio practice, Sujata is actively involved in her local arts community. She serves as a board member of Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem and is involved with the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem and The Enrichment Center.
