Urban_01

Equally abstract and full of rhythmic vitality, this photograph presents the same dense urban high-rise landscape, but in a refreshing color spectrum of green and yellow-green. The vertical lines abstracting the architecture are rendered here in nuances of lime green, emerald, and dark forest green. This color choice transforms the "urban jungle" into a metaphor for growth and the symbiosis of city and nature. The schematic forms evoke a sense of infinity. The medium of photography allows for a fascinating depth of detail within the abstraction, which is showcased with particular elegance by the matte, non-reflective surface of the Alu-Dibond. The work invites a meditative contemplation of urban complexity.
