Bridgebuilders

More than ever, the world needs bridge-builders. Women and men who seek to connect groups, peoples, nations, and religions, and who renounce violence in doing so. Men and women who know how to listen, who can transform their own traumas into compassion for others. They do not ignore their own suffering or history, yet they refuse to use it as a weapon. They listen where others shout. They choose connection where division seems the easiest path.
