Catharsis 5 (Alex)

This work was part of two personal exhibition: "In Enigmata" (Bucharest, 2025) and "Fragments of unstable body" (Bucharest, 2026). It was, also, exhibited at the Brasov Art Connect event (2025, Brasov, Romania) and it ia part of the "Catharsis" series. The "Catharsis" series is a tribute to women who have experienced loss due to global conflicts. It serves as a dedication to those no longer with us. This original oil on canvas is a powerful piece of figurative painting. The brushstrokes follow the geometry of the composition, revealing the emotion and energy within. The shades of green add depth and complexity. This abstract expressionism work incorporates the symbolism of the triskelion, representing the connection between the physical and spiritual realms. It embodies the acceptance of pain and the natural cycle of life.
