Cobalt blue dominates the upper field, softening into periwinkle and lavender as it moves downward. Small red and coral marks flash beneath the blue, revealing the heat carried inside the cooler surface. The close repetition gives the painting both density and a restless pulse. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
