Burgundy and red concentrate along the upper edge, then pass through pink into a lavender base. Blue strokes appear within the warmer field like cool fragments caught in the weave. The compact canvas holds a surprising sense of depth, built entirely through color and repetition. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
