A field of green deepens toward the upper edge and opens into mint below. Small strokes knit the transition together, allowing flashes of blue, violet, and warm color to surface between them. The painting feels less like a fixed gradient than light filtering through dense growth. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
