Scarlet and red concentrate at the top, breaking into coral and pink before reaching a pale base. Dark marks remain scattered across the transition, adding weight to the brighter colors. The painting carries heat downward while the lower field seems to push light back upward. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
