Hot pink crowns the painting and descends through rose and lavender into an almost white lower field. Each band remains porous, with marks from neighboring colors passing across its boundary. The canvas turns a simple progression from dark to light into something buoyant and expansive. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
