A dense blue field gradually opens into lavender and white. Coral and pink strokes become more apparent toward the bottom, where they rise through the pale ground like sparks. The large format amplifies the painting's slow release from saturation into light. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
