Blue dominates the upper field and moves through turquoise into pale green. Red marks appear throughout, becoming sharper where the surrounding color lightens. The canvas pairs the calm of a broad atmospheric shift with the energy of countless individual strokes. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
