Green holds the upper portion of the canvas, then softens through gray into a pale mint base. Crimson marks move throughout the field, sometimes receding and sometimes coming sharply forward. Their persistence prevents the quiet color shift from becoming passive. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
