A dark wine-red field descends through violet and blue into pale cyan. Warm marks continue to flicker within the cooler lower half, making the transition feel reciprocal rather than one-directional. The broad canvas gives this exchange room to unfold as a sustained passage of color. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
