Red and crimson press down from the top, passing through coral and muted green before reaching a pale mint base. The colors do not blend smoothly; they meet through hundreds of separate strokes that preserve their independence. The painting feels heated above and newly cooled below. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
