Deep red descends through scarlet and orange into yellow, finally cooling at the base with pale green. The progression carries the force of heat moving across the canvas, but individual strokes keep it from becoming a seamless spectrum. Dark fragments remain visible throughout, giving the radiance structure. Built through dense, impasto, my paintings transform repeated marks into fields of shifting color and light. Individual strokes remain visible within each gradual transition. The resulting surface feels atmospheric from a distance and rich up close.
